In order for a screen printer to “burn” screens and print your artwork, it must be set up properly.
In this tutorial, I teach step-by-step how to change existing artwork into screen-print ready files for your screen printer to work with.
For basic artwork, this is a very simple process; but for more detailed and advanced artwork, it can be a time-consuming feat. Therefore, the best way to design your artwork for screen printing is to start out your design with spot colors already created. Every time a new shape or text is created, select one of the spot colors you created, or create a new one.
